Poems have this incredible potential to simultaneously move our body, our mind and our soul. One poem can be a visual, auditive, intellectual and emotional experience in itself. It is the dance of ideas on a music of words.

It only takes a few meaningful words to convey a strong idea. And it requires a unique and precise assembly of sounds, syllables and feet to give it beauty. To awake it to life. And to keep it vividly present.

French Dreams poems intend to combine language, pictures and music to call on your imagination and connect with your intuition. Most pictures in this work come from photographies captured during a trip in the mountains of Kirghiztan; these landscapes found a direct path to my soul. Music pieces are proposed for each set of poems to enhance your senses and experience.

French Dreams: why an English title for French poetry? These poems were thoughts for non French native speakers to embark on this journey of senses: a list of key words are translated in English for each poem to make a broad sense of them. Let your imagination connect the dots and the music of words guide your own interpretation.
